Excellent academic environment 4. Providing the Center of Excellence (CoE) program in Data Governance Analyst Class 5. Description of COE The Data Governance Analyst Class is an excellence program by the Center of Excellence (CoE) of the Department of Government Scinece at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, designed to address the growing demand for graduates with strong data analytical competencies in public governance. This CoE program is developed through close collaboration with practitioners and institutional partners specializing in data governance, public policy, politics, and data analysis. The primary objective of the CoE Data Governance Analyst program is to provide students with enriched learning experiences related to data-driven governance practices. Through the active involvement of external partners in the learning process, students gain a deeper understanding of the strategic role of data in governmental and political decision-making. In addition, the CoE program aims to enhance graduate employability by exposing students to real-world professional environments. By engaging directly with practitioners and undertaking practical learning experiences within government institutions, research organizations, and international institutions, students are better prepared to enter the workforce. The CoE program is conducted over a one-year period. In the first semester, students participate in practitioner-led theoretical courses, application-based training, and case study analyses. Then, in the second semester students undertake internships and applied research in governmental and non-governmental institutions. |
